Last week, Noah Kahan announced a 2024 tour. Tickets for this tour will be non-transferable AKA you cannot buy these tickets with the sole intention of selling them for a profit on any resale platform. If for some reason you cannot make the show and do need to get rid of tickets, you’ll be able to do a face value exchange which better ensures actual fans will get your tickets. WOW. AMAZING. Truly, truly love to see this.

Wouldn’t it be incredible if every artist did this? Or if at least, I don’t know, the current biggest artist in the world did this for her tour? Feels like a simple way to curb the scalpers who are convincing desperate fans they need to pay thousands and thousands of dollars to go to your show! If Noah Kahan can do it, surely the most powerful woman in pop music can?! Just a thought!

Today’s mix has absolutely nothing to do with concert tickets, they’ve just been on my mind a lot lately. Honestly, I have not been listening to a lot of music beyond getting through what’s in my new releases queue, so that’s what makes up most of this week’s roundup.
